I was in a commune. I threw three rocks down a drain grate and a deformed alligator jumped out. Chad wrestled with the alligator, and befriended Ed Steck. They were trying to be cool. Wearing flannel. I got lost in a church while trying to find my way home. I found a sheet of paper that a little kid had written all the words he knew on. "that" "this" "there" "she" "him" etc. A bridal party/baby shower kept interrupting my mission. Jeremy Magill called me on a car phone to hang out. Empty Body Butter containers were in a lake. A recycling team I belonged to jumped in to save them.

beth and I both had dreams about sweatsuits and weddings.

I also dreamed that I helped John Darnielle put together a jigsaw puzzle at his merch table.

Em made a Boy Meets World slice of pizza.

Dreamt I was back at Turtle Creek, the store. Talking with Ryan. I felt so happy and at peace in this dream. I was thinking about how my life would start to get easier. I wanted to tell Terry, the old pharmacist, who now - in reality - works at Giant Eagle. But I couldn't find her. So I found her at McDonalds. She was working there by herself. I didn't go in. I was outside and I felt sad. There was a large group of people, 20 to 30, all running towards the door. All looking like suburban white people, of 40 years or so. As they neared the door Terry smiled and lifted a stack of hue-colored papers (green, maybe?) and put them on the counter nearest the door. I didn't feel sad anymore, because Terry seemed so happy. I heard someone in the mob say Pastor Buck. I got one of the sheets and saw that they were coupons with a group shot of Pastor Buck and Shawn with the youth group.

Esther climbed the dogwood tree in front of my parents house so she could look at me and Joel. She kept falling out of it and climbing up again.

Pastor Gary hosted a game show in a planetarium. It had always been his dream. Nathan Slafka won, but it was all just pretend.

Kids spray painted graffiti on my parents' front door and their steps. No one cared.

tv dreams

Sunday night, I dreamed that I lived above Tim and Jill Taylor. They lived in their Home Improvement set and I lived in a big open attic-like space above the set.

The next night I dreamed I was Laura Ingells, but from the Little House on the Prairie tv show, not the books. I was watching my family in the opening credits and realized this was the episode I would meet Almonzo, who I would eventually marry. I was annoyed because I remember thinking he was pretty goofy looking, but when the opening credits got to him, sunlight shown all around his face and I thought he was dreamy.

I was hanging out with James and Kim's hairdresser. I think he kissed me.
