weirdness.

I was at the beach with my family and a few friends from India (Raj, Joel and I think Dana were all there)...giant waves were occasionally crashing way too high into our building and way too far inland, but no one evacuated! We just kept thinking, "Oh! Now *that* was a big one!" and then we'd think it was over!!! So, even after a few of these moster waves crashed inside our room on the 3rd floor, we all went down to the pool area, where there was some kind of awning set up for a talent show. We sat down at a picnic table and were eating graduation-party style food...on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils nonetheless...when the 'show' began. After a little while, I realized that my family and friends had ALL left! They apparently went further inland and left me at the hotel! I was terrified, so I hurried up and finished eating, then began gathering up my empty plate/cup/plasticware so that I could throw them in a trash can before getting the heck out of the hotel. As I was doing this, a man who was severely overdressed for the beach (he was wearing a long beige trenchcoat and a plaid fuzzy hat and looked like a reporter/grandpa) noticed that I was about to leave and purposefully blocked my way! I was angry and desperate. I yelled at him to get out of my way. He refused and told me that he didn't want me getting up in the middle of the show and walking in front of him with all my trash, as this would block his view of his daugher who was in the show--and he wanted to take pictures. I shoved him. While all of this was happening, another giant wave had come and crashed on all of us, but no one moved. We were all irritated at how wet our food got. Especially my celery sticks which were still on my plate. I woke up very angry.
